Fabulous Sewing Basket with Primitive Treasures

Absolutely fabulous old painted sewing basket contains all of the following treasures:

• 4.5" wood and metal embroidery hoop
• celluloid "finger" thimble
• tiny pair of black storklette scissors (these are new from Kelmscott)
• 3 old shoe buttons
• skein of soft yarn or thread 
• old spool of brown darning silk thread
• folky bird with old pins and tin thimble
• 3 rolls of wool fabric (ready to be put through your cutter for hooking)
• 1 old log cabin quilt square with blue and brown homespun on back 8" x 8"
• 1 piece of very old brown calico with floral design 15" square

Basket itself is nicely worn. I've added a bit of ribbon and an old button on top.  A fantastic collection!
