A Friend's Gift

~~ An Antique Reproduction ~~

A reproduction of one of the beautiful antique samplers in my collection. I’ve made this one into a lined bag that cinches at the top with ribbon.  The chart is true to the original, however I took the liberty of adding initials at the top (mine and my chum’s).  I’ve included an alphabet chart and instructions so you can do the same – or stay true to the original – the choice is yours!

Stitched on 36 count Lakeside Linen Vintage Light Examplar using The Gentle Art threads.  All stitches are cross stitch.

Stitch count: 125w x 132h

Stitched size: 7”w x 7.5”h

Finished project size:  8”w x 9”h. 

Pattern includes color photo, professional cross stitch chart, GAST floss colors with DMC alternates, and instructions for completing the bag.
